The works below are from my most recent collection of diary comics made while working as a deckhand on a tall ship just off Chicago’s Navy Pier the summer of 2018.
46 pages of black-and-white swash-buckling comics with monochromatic cyan covers, this 5.5’’x8.5’’ booklet is hand-saddle-stitched with turquoise thread with a sailboat charm sewn into the spine. It also comes with an accompanying mix CD called ’’They Call the Wind Mariah’’, which can be streamed for free on YouTube at tinyurl.com/tallshipmixtape! Or, you can purchase the physical CD from my Storenvy with the comic for only a dollar.
’’Wish You Were Pier’’ can be purchased at Quimby’s and Chicago Comics in Illinois, and at various locations up and down the West coast through Emerald Comics Distribution. You can also order it via mail here on my Storenvy, and digitally on my Gumroad.
